This is the USNSCC model we expect each and every cadet to follow.

We are a federally chartered non-profit civilian youth training organization, for young people ages 10 through 17. We are sponsored by the Navy League of the United States and supported by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.

•The goals of our program are to:

•Develop an interest and ability in seamanship and seagoing skills.

•Instill principles of good citizenship and strong moral principles.

•Demonstrate the value of an alcohol-, drug- and gang-free lifestyle.

•Expose cadets to the prestige of a military career.

We develop an interest and skills in basic seamanship and in its Naval Adaptations.

Cadets learn through regulation and order - the discipline to be accountable for their actions.

Besides seagoing skills, we teach patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues.

Cadets train aboard the ships and shore activities of the United States Navy and Coast Guard and wear US Navy uniforms, appropriately marked with the Naval Sea Cadet Corps insignia.

Come out and test your limits!
